On November 3, 2023, School of Life Sciences and Biotechnology, Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SLSB, SJTU) and Faculty of Science, Kasetsart University (FS, KU) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in academic research, education and student exchange. SLSB Dean Yan Feng hosted KU Vice President Seri Koonjaenak and the delegation.  

The MoU was signed by SLSB Dean Yan Feng and FS Dean Apisit Songsasen, which unleashes the potential of international cooperation and academic innovation. The successful signing of the MoU marks a high-quality support for the Belt and Road Initiative, of which sci-tech cooperation is an important part.

During visit, the KU delegation took a tour of SJTU History Museum. Later, scholars and students from SJTU and KU joined a  multidisciplinary academic exchange in the fields of life sciences, agriculture, oceanography, naval architecture and ocean engineering . The knowledge and experiences shared inspire mutual benefits and complementary strengths in achieving shared development goals.
